Picnic for Peace Chester aims to celebrate the diversity and multiculturalism in our wonderful city.
The idea is simple – A giant family picnic where we can all share our cultures and our cuisines; forge new friendships; and enjoy an afternoon of fun and food together.
The original Picnic for Peace was held in Lewisham, London as a community response to the experienced recent rise in racism and xenophobia. And what a better way to respond, then with a celebration of peace!
