DESCRIPTION:From: Trevor Dennis <trevordennis11@gmail.com> \n ‘Singing for Peace’ \nDear Friends\, \nOnce again the Chester Christian Aid Group is organising an ecumenical service this autumn\, using the ‘Songs of Praise’ format. In the past we have called the service ‘Singing for Justice; Singing for Peace’\, or ‘Singing for Climate Justice’. This time we are keeping it simple\, ‘SINGING FOR PEACE’. After the events of this summer in our own country\, and with the news still coming out of Gaza and the Middle East\, Ukraine\, Russia\, and other places such as Sudan\, we feel there is a particularly urgent need for us to come together. \nThe service will be held at St Mary’s Handbridge on Sunday October 6th at 4.00pm.  Christel Langdon-Griffiths from Christian Aid will be giving an address. There will be a retiring collection for Christian Aid. \nPlease do all you can to publicise the service in your own church. We hope to see you there. \nWith very best wishes\, \nTrevor
