An evening hosted by Five Talents in the cathedral’s Chapter House to celebrate the link between Chester Diocese and the diocese of Aru and Boga in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Five Talents works with a network of local partners and churches to enable the rural poor in East Africa to establish small businesses. They set up village savings and loans groups, and train members in financial literacy and business skills.  Five Talents’ members gain, often for the very first time, a safe place to save, access to small loans, and the skills to use them well.

There will be speakers from DRC, as well as presentations on the work of Five Talents and refreshments.
